Articulated tube lamp: point the light where you need it
Instead of a cable, this lamp has a fabric-covered articulated tube that bends and stays where you put it. It works on the ceiling or on the wall: the tube is fixed to the ceiling rose and the lampholder with a pair of terminals. The cable is already inside the tube, so you only choose the colour, length and finish of each part.
What it includes and what each part is for
- Ceiling rose Single outlet, with a mounting plate to fix it to the ceiling or wall.
- Terminals (pair) They join the tube to the ceiling rose and the lampholder. M10 threads, nuts and Allen key included.
- Articulated tube Fabric-covered, in 300, 600 or 900 mm and 15 colours, with the cable already inside. We suggest 600 mm.
- Lampholder With an M10 threaded entry. The bulb screws into it.
- Bulb With a cap that matches the lampholder. If you already have one, choose «I already have a bulb».
You do not have to work anything out: the configurator counts these parts for what you choose.
How it goes together
- Fit a terminal to each end of the tube.
- Screw one terminal to the ceiling rose and the other to the lampholder, and tighten with the Allen key.
- Connect the tube wires to the lampholder.
- With the power off, connect the tube wires to the ceiling or wall wires and fix the ceiling rose.
- Screw in the bulb, bend the tube towards where you want the light and turn the power back on.
Always make the connections with the power off. If you have no experience with electrical work, ask an electrician to do them.
Frequently asked questions
Does it work on the ceiling and on the wall?
Yes, it is the same lamp. Only where you fix the ceiling rose changes.
Which tube length should I choose?
There are tubes of 300, 600 and 900 mm. We suggest 600 mm; you can change it with the button for each length.
Do I need to buy cable?
No. The tube already has the cable inside, and the pair of terminals includes the threads, nuts and key to fit it.
Why are some ceiling roses missing?
We only show single-outlet ceiling roses with a mounting plate, which can be fixed to the ceiling or wall. Decorative ones without a plate do not suit this lamp.
