Continuous outdoor festoon with fabric cable

An outdoor festoon with decorative fabric cable, with a neater finish than flat cable. You choose the cable colour, the length and how many lights; we add the plug so you can switch it on. The other end is held by a special ceiling rose on the wall or ceiling and, if you need one, you add a weatherproof socket.

The cable runs down the wall to the socket and across the space with the lights to the support at the other end.

What it includes and what each part is for

  • Outdoor fabric cable In 7 colours, by the metre, up to 25 m in one run.
  • Lampholders Outdoor IP65, in white or black. We suggest one every 80 cm of cable.
  • Bulbs One per lampholder. If you already have them, choose «I already have bulbs».
  • Plug Outdoor plug for round cable. We always add it, one per festoon.
  • Support Special outdoor ceiling rose that holds the other end on the wall or ceiling. In 8 colours.
  • Socket Optional: weatherproof, with or without a switch, to plug the festoon in outdoors.

You do not have to work anything out: the configurator counts these parts for what you choose.

How it goes together

  1. Decide where the festoon will run and measure the length, from the socket to the support at the end.
  2. Fit the plug to the start of the cable.
  3. Place the lampholders along the cable, at the spacing you want between lights.
  4. Fix the support to the wall or ceiling and secure the end of the cable to it.
  5. Screw in the bulbs and plug the festoon in.

Always unplug the festoon before assembling or moving it. If you are unsure about the electrical installation, ask an electrician to check it.

As many as you like: we suggest one every 80 cm based on the length, and you can change the number.

What is the support for?

To hold the other end of the festoon on the wall or ceiling, securely and matching the cable.

Do I need the socket?

Only if you have no outdoor socket nearby. It is weatherproof, and there is one with a switch to turn the festoon on and off.

What if I want the lights to hang down?

Use the drop festoon with fabric cable: each light hangs from the main cable on a T-piece.
