Multi-light pendant: one light for each outlet of the ceiling rose
Several lights hang from a single ceiling rose, each at the height you want. You choose the ceiling rose for the number of lights, then the cable, lampholder and bulb just once: the configurator multiplies them by the number of lights. To move the lights away from the ceiling rose, add cable hooks on the ceiling.
What it includes and what each part is for
- Multi-outlet ceiling rose Each outlet is one light. Those called «Kit» already include the top cord grips.
- Cord grips One at each outlet of the ceiling rose and one on each lampholder.
- Fabric cable You enter the length of each drop; we suggest 3 m per drop and add up the total metres.
- Cable hooks Optional: fixed to the ceiling, they take each cable to another point. Either none or one per light.
- Lampholders With an M10 threaded entry, all the same.
- Bulbs With a cap that matches the lampholder, one per light. If you already have them, choose «I already have a bulb».
You do not have to work anything out: the configurator counts these parts for what you choose.
How it goes together
- Decide the height of each light and, if you use cable hooks, mark on the ceiling where each one goes.
- Thread each cable through its outlet in the ceiling rose and its cord grip, then fix the cord grips.
- If you use cable hooks, fix them to the ceiling and pass each cable through its own hook.
- At the other end of each cable, fit the cord grip, connect both wires to the lampholder and screw the cord grip in.
- With the power off, connect all the cables to the ceiling wires inside the ceiling rose, fix it and screw in the bulbs.
Always make the connections with the power off. If you have no experience with electrical work, ask an electrician to do them.
Frequently asked questions
How many lights can I have?
As many as the ceiling rose has outlets: a 4-outlet ceiling rose makes a 4-light lamp.
Can they hang at different heights?
Yes. In the cable step you enter the length of each drop; we suggest 3 m per drop.
What are the cable hooks for?
To move the lights away from the ceiling rose: the cable leaves the ceiling rose, runs along the ceiling to the hook and hangs from there. If you use them, add the ceiling run to the length of each drop.
Can I mix different parts?
In this lamp all the lights have the same cable, lampholder and bulb. To mix different styles, press «Questions? An expert checks your lamp».
