Multi-light pendant with shades

Several lights hanging from a single ceiling rose, each with its own shade. You start by choosing the shade, which is the same for every light, then the ceiling rose for the number of lights. The configurator only shows the cord grips, cable, lampholder and bulb that suit your shade, and multiplies them by the number of lights.

From each outlet of the ceiling rose a cable drops with its shade, each at its own height.

What it includes and what each part is for

  • Shades All the same, one per light. Metal, ceramic or fabric; the heaviest ones do not go in this lamp.
  • Multi-outlet ceiling rose Each outlet is one light. The «Kit» ones already include the top cord grips.
  • Cord grips One at each outlet and one on each lampholder. With metal or ceramic shades, metal ones.
  • Fabric cable You enter the length of each drop; we suggest 3 m per drop.
  • Cable hooks Optional, to move the lights away from the ceiling rose. Either none or one per light.
  • Lampholders and bulbs According to the shade hole. With a fabric shade, LED bulbs.

You do not have to work anything out: the configurator counts these parts for what you choose.

How it goes together

  1. Decide the height of each light and, if you use cable hooks, mark on the ceiling where each one goes.
  2. Thread each cable through its outlet in the ceiling rose and its cord grip, then fix the cord grips.
  3. If you use cable hooks, fix them to the ceiling and pass each cable through its own hook.
  4. On each cable, fit the shade and the lower cord grip, connect the lampholder and fix the shade with its rings or with the cord grip.
  5. With the power off, connect all the cables to the ceiling wires inside the ceiling rose, fix it and screw in the bulbs.

Always make the connections with the power off. If you have no experience with electrical work, ask an electrician to do them.

Frequently asked questions

Can I use different shades?

In this lamp all the lights have the same shade. To mix different styles, press «Questions? An expert checks your lamp».

Why are some shades missing?

The heaviest shades do not go in a multi-light lamp. We only show the ones the ceiling rose and cord grips can carry.

How is each shade held?

If its hole is E27 or E14, with a shade lampholder that clamps it with its rings. If it is 10 mm, the cord grip holds it.

What are the cable hooks for?

To move the lights away from the ceiling rose: the cable runs along the ceiling to the hook and hangs from there. If you use them, add the ceiling run to the length of each drop.
